After a rough beginning of her life which started on the NYC Kill List with her litter mates, ARIZONA was recently adopted by Barbara :) It's a match made in Heaven. | A great way to start off 2017! Spooky went to his forever home last night on Staten Island. He is already loving his new family. Mom, Christine M. reports he has already settled in and is very happy. Here he is with his new best friend, Olivia. We wish them a long, happy life together! | You have made my Chris and James very happy boys and us too!!! Thank you Chris and Cathy. We are all in love with Munchkin already! | Chloe was found as a stray at 5 weeks old. Left in a box in a Brooklyn yard, she was found by a good citizen who released her to our care. Chloe had severe eye infections, which despite all our effort required the surgical removal of her eyes. With the surgery a success, Chloe went on to become a happy, playful kitten. Despite her lack of sight, she can do everything a “normal” cat can do. She runs and climbs and is totally fearless. Chloe was adopted by Stacey and went home for Christmas | Fostered in Staten Island NYCACC kill listed kittens Butter and Beans and adopted out via our partner rescue organization in MA. |

This pooch was kill listed at NYC ACC not long ago, luckily we were able to find him a great home where he was able to celebrate Thanksgiving with his new family. "He is an absolute love bug. Can you please let everyone know at the shelter where he was assessed that he is a complete love bug and gets along well with dogs including German Shepherds! She recently was adopted by Anthony and Jessica and is settling in to her new home. | Previously named Squeak, Isabella was found as a one week old bottle kitten. This sweet tuxie gal recently went to her forever home with Diane and her two sons. Isabella is now spoiled rotten and loving every second of it! | Arya was found at 3wks old in someone's backyard. She and her siblings were brought to NYC ACC on a Sunday and given only 2 hours to find placement before being put to sleep. Luckily, one of our volunteers stepped up to save the trio. Now, ARYA is in her new home on Staten Island with her loving parents Gil and Karyn, who also recently adopted Pork Chop. We couldn't be happier for her! Arya is one lucky kitten! |

We helped Wayne Morris save this sweet, old guy. Wayne wanted to share his story with all our followers. He writes: "Pappy was Pulled from a Kill Shelter in NY, He is 16 years Old. Can you Imagine being thrown away and afraid at 16, placed in a cage waiting to die. We love this Old man, Without this rescue this baby would have never had seen another day of life. We adopted Pappy through Staten Island. He was touch and go medically. Well, LOOK AT HIM NOW, What love and Veterinary care can do. | Pappy a sweet 16 year old senior was saved from the kill list at NYC ACC and is now living his golden years with Wayne and his wife in Long Island. | Legolas was adopted by his fosters and is very happy in his forever home. | CONGRATS ON OUR FIRST OFFICIAL ADOPTION OF 2016!!! AFter being dumped like garbage by a former owner, Pork Chop finally went to his forever home on Staten Island. They love him already and are slowly introducing him to his new feline sister and brothers. He enjoyed, or should I say my parents enjoyed, him visiting over Christmas. He is a wonderful old man and I just adore him. Thank you for bringing him into my life.
